This is a prep session for the upcoming Norwich Mini-Ball on September 28. It's an opportunity to learn a few of the more challenging dances on the program for Saturday's English country dance ball.

Dancers are welcome whether or not they're planning to attend Saturday's mini-ball.

The afternoon starts with a review of some of the less-familiar or harder dances in the program, followed by a brief recess to socialize and, perhaps, to change into fancier clothing for the ball.

All dances will be taught.

Family square dance, sponsored by Friends of the Abbott Library in Sunapee. Lively dances for third graders and up. All dances taught, no experience needed. Refreshments provided at the break.

Old-time square dance, featuring classic Eastern singing square dances. Live music by Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki (fiddle) and Sue Hunt, piano. All dances taught by David Millstone.
