Other dances of interest
The Norwich contras are 2nd Saturday and 4th Saturdays. The last dance in June, and dances on those days in July and August are held instead at the Pavilion in East Thetford. If that isn’t enough to satisfy you, here are some other options:
Montpelier, VT, has a contra dance on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday each month. A new series (2015) on the 2nd Saturday features contras with another form of dance each month.
Brattleboro, VT, has a contra dance twice a month on Sunday evenings, usually the 2nd and 4th.
The Burlington, VT, area hosts two monthly dance series. Queen City Contras is on 2nd Fridays in Shelburne, and the Mad Robin Callers Collective hosts a dance on 4th Fridays.
Nelson, NH, has a contra dance each Monday night. Nelson is a famous venue in dance history,
